Josephine A. Mueske

Josephine Anne Mueske, age 72, of Berlin, died peacefully on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Marys Campus in Rochester, MN.

She was born March 15, 1945, in Flushing, NY, the daughter of Peter and Carmela Tufaro Tucci. Jo was a graduate of High School of Fashion Industries in NY, NY, and received an associate degree from Moraine Park Technical College. On July 12, 1975, she was united in marriage to Ray Mueske in Allentown, PA.

Jo worked various jobs, most recently at Oshkosh B’Gosh as a Color Technician. She enjoyed reading, sewing, making crafts, dancing, traveling, having fun shopping or eating lunch with friends (Italian was her favorite), but especially spending time with her husband and family. Jo had a giving heart which showed through her volunteer work at Soul Food and the Berlin Food Pantry. She was a member of Grace English Lutheran Church in Berlin.

She is survived by her husband, Ray; daughter, Tara (Gregg) Farrell; son, Drew Mueske (significant other, Stacey Kalies); granddaughters, Taylor, Kallysa, and Macy Farrell; great-grandson, Javon Farrell; and sister, Rosemarie (Steve) Banasiak. Jo was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin, and on Saturday, at the church one hour prior to the services. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 10, at 11:00 a.m., at Grace English Lutheran Church in Berlin, Rev. Scott T. Piper officiating. Interment will be in Dartford Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to American Heart Association.
