Ann I. Hochrein

Ann Irene Hochrein, age 61, of Linden, TN, formerly of Berlin, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

She was born February 5, 1961. Ann was the daughter of Francis and Irene Gelhar Hochrein. She was baptized and confirmed at Grace English Lutheran Church and attended Berlin schools. In her early years, she took dance classes at Beverly Ann School of the Dance. Ann was a talented artist, and loved riding horses.

She is survived by her son, Aaron Duhm; sister, Therese “Terri” (Harlen) Rosin; brother, Paul (Judy) Hochrein; several nieces and nephews; and cousins, Jim Gelhar and Nancy (Pat) Dallas. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Francis “Hooky” and Irene Hochrein; son, Clinton Duhm; and infant son, Jason Lee Duhm.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, August 2, at 11:00 a.m., at Oakwood Cemetery in Berlin, Rev. Rebekah Tarras officiating. Anyone wishing to send a sympathy card to the family, please mail to Ann Hochrein, c/o Barbola Funeral Chapel, PO Box 201, Berlin, WI 54923.
