Beverly J. Cotanch

Beverly Jean Cotanch, age 80, of Poy Sippi, died peacefully on Friday, February 12, 2021, at Eden Meadows in Oshkosh.

She was born January 22, 1941, at home in the Town of Leon, the daughter of James and Dorothy McClelland Quimby. Bev was a 1958 graduate of Wautoma High School. On June 10, 1961, she was united in marriage to Gary Cotanch at St. Paul Lutheran Church at Fairburn.

Bev worked as a housekeeper most of her life cleaning homes. She also worked at the grocery store in Poy Sippi and Kwik Trip in Redgranite. In her free time she enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Redgranite.

She is survived by her husband, Gary; two daughters, Connie (Bob) Bohn and Tammy (Steve) Gurgel; three grandchildren, Ashley Stellmacher, Greg (Sadie Obrigewitch) Stellmacher and Misty Boers; two great-grandchildren, Madison and Leighton Boers; and aunt, June Barrington. Bev was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 20, from Noon to 1:30 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church in Redgranite. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., at the church, Rev. Gregory Sluke officiating. Interment will be in Poy Sippi Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin. Memorials may be directed to Poy Sippi Food Pantry.
