Beverly J. Blackman

Beverly Jean Blackman, age 70, of Oshkosh, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh.

She was born April 12, 1947, in Oshkosh, WI, the daughter of Perry and Alfrieda “Fritzie” Petersen Dibble. Beverly was a 1965 graduate of Berlin High School and she attended Constance Beauty School. She was united in marriage to Bill Greening and they later divorced. She was then united in marriage to George Blackman. Beverly was a hairdresser for Fern’s Beauty Shop and a cake decorator at Greenings United Foods.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, ChrisAnn Greening; son, Wayne Greening; granddaughter, Abigail Farnsworth; brother, Terry (Charlene) Dibble; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; and brother, David Dibble.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin followed by Memorial Services at 4:00 p.m., Rev. Larry Rieck officiating. Inurnment will be in Brooks Cemetery in the Town of Vinland.
