Alice M. Wrage

Alice May “Ollie” Wrage, age 82, formerly of Pine River died peacefully on Monday, November 4, 2024, at Providence Terrace Villas in Appleton.

She was born January 10, 1942, in the Township of Leon, the daughter of Norbert and Josephine Peterson Wrage. Ollie was a 1960 graduate of Wild Rose High School and attended Wautoma Normal School.

Ollie worked for Valley Packaging in Appleton. She enjoyed children and loved caring for her nieces and nephews over the years. Ollie was an avid Bible reader, loved singing, playing UNO, doing word search games, coloring, embroidery and cats. She was baptized, confirmed and a member at First Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi.

She is survived by four sisters, June Lepak, Jo Ann Yeska, Lois Kolka and Linda Wrage; two brothers, James “Jim” (Mary) Wrage and Jerry (Jan) Wrage; and nieces and nephews and friends. Ollie was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Diana Krutzik; and brothers-in-law, James Lepak, Dick Yeska and Dave Kolka.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at First Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Rebekah Tarras officiating. Inurnment will be in Pine River Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola-Hempel Funeral Chapel in Poy Sippi.
