Rudy J. Rudolf

Rudy John Rudolf, age 76, of Neshkoro, died peacefully at home on Monday, May 20, 2024.

He was born November 18, 1947, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Ralph and Evelyn (Falkowski) Rudolf. Rudy was a 1965 graduate of Bay View High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1967-1969. On February 5, 1972, he was united in marriage to Elaine Pestotnik at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Milwaukee. He lived in Waterford, WI, for 36 years before moving to the Neshkoro area.

Rudy was a union laborer for over 30 years, retiring from Plennes Construction in 2009. He enjoyed hunting and gardening and was a member of Tichigan Lions Club in Waterford and the American Legion. He attended St. James Catholic Church in Neshkoro.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine; two daughters, Amy Rudolf and Sara (Scott) Fuchs; one son, Ralph Rudolf II; eight grandchildren, Rory and Ralissa Rudolf, Cecile and Samantha Fuchs, and Rocky, Wesley, Charlotte and Ashley Rudolf; two brothers, Roy (Lynn) Rudolf and Russell (Julie) Rudolf; three sisters, Christine (Douglas) Carroll, Claudia (Jim) Schmidt and Bette (John) Feistel; sister-in-law, Christine Rudolf; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Rudy was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Rodney Rudolf.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 24, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 305 S. First St., Waterford, with Rev. Johny Amaladasan officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the church. Interment with military honors, will be in St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery. The family would like to thank ThedaCare at Home Hospice, especially Sierra, RN and Nikki. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin.
