Barbara H. Beaman

Barbara Helen Beaman, age 77, of Berlin, died peacefully on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah. Barbara was born June 29, 1933 in Waushara County, WI. She was the daughter of David and Helen Harrison Kettlewell. On June 14, 1952 she was united in marriage to Bernard D. Beaman in Berlin. She was a 1951 graduate of Berlin High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Library Science from UW-Oshkosh. Barbara was a secretary and teacher’s aide for the Berlin Area School District for many years. She was a secretary for the Winnefox Library System and at the Green Lake Center/ABA. Barb’s other interests included being a Sunday School teacher, memberships in Homemakers and Eastern Star, as well as various children’s literacy programs. She is survived by her husband, Bernard D. Beaman; two daughters, Colleen B. Beaman and her husband David H. Moss, and Maureen E. Beaman and her husband Thomas R. Ellis; as well as 6 grandchildren, Hart Moss (Rebecca), Evan Moss, Starr Moss, Wynne Moss, Lann Ellis and Benjamin Ellis. She was preceded in death by her parents, David Kettlewell and Helen Harrison Kettlewell Peterson; her stepfather, Arthur E. Peterson; brother David Kettlewell and infant siblings, Jane and Joseph Kettlewell. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 27 at 1:00 p.m. at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin. The family will receive friends and relatives from 10:00a.m. until the time of services at Barbola Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Welsh Cemetery in the Town of Aurora on Tuesday, June 28 at 10:00 a.m. The family asks that any memorials be directed to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel.
