Isabel Helen Bartol

Isabel Helen Bartol, age 92 of Berlin, died peacefully on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Juliette Manor. Isabel was born April 11, 1920 in Waushara County, WI. She was the daughter of Ezedore and Wanda Bozych Resop. On October 19, 1940 she was united in marriage to Alfred J. Bartol. She worked at Russell Glove and was a Supervisor at Medalist Sand Knit for 30 years until her retirement. Isabel was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Ladies Sodality, and Catholic Order of Foresters. She liked to crochet and play cards. Isabel is survived by two daughters, Carol (Bob) Rohde and Linda (“Butch”) Klauer; a son, Ken (Sher) Bartol of Weyauwega; 8 grandchildren, Bob (Jackie) Rohde, Doug (Linda) Rohde, Kelly (Steve) Wadel, Kay (Jim) Schultz, Kevin (Sandy) Rohde, Kari Klauer-Disterhaft (special friend Jerry Parsons), Kris Klauer, and Karen (Shane) Van Den Bloomer; 17 great-grandchildren, 9great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Ann Cismoski; three brothers, Edward Resop, Clarence Resop, and Tom (Donna) Resop; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Bartol on March 28, 1986; her parents; two brothers, Leonard Resop and Sylvester “Mike” Resop; two sisters, Irene Mathia and Alice Bartol; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jack Bartol, Clarence Mathia, Eugene Cismoski, Leone and Norman Cismoski, Mary Jo Resop, Marcy and Norbert Schiltz, Carl and Marion Bartol, and Aggie Resop. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in Berlin, the Rev. Jerome Maksvytis officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery in Berlin. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, May 2 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Barbola Funeral Chapel. The Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Barbola Funeral Chapel. A special thank you to the staff at Juliette Manor for all their great care.
