Elsie E. Bach

Elsie E. Bach, age 98 of Berlin, died peacefully on Friday, January 27, 2012 at American House under hospice care. Elsie was born February 19, 1913 in Westfield, WI. She was the daughter of Ernest and Mabel Wilson Rekow. She was a graduate of Loyal High School in Loyal, WI. Elsie was a member of Grace English Lutheran Church in Berlin, the Joy Circle, and was a founding member of the "Grey Ladies" (now the Berlin Hospital Auxillary). She is survived by her daughter Cleo (Donald) Papa of Texas; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley and Albert Rekow. Memorial Services will be held at a later date at Grace English Lutheran Church in Berlin, the Rev. Scott Piper officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel. A memorial has been established for the Berlin Area Food Pantry.
