Muriel M. Hoehne
Muriel Mae Hoehne, age 83, of Oshkosh, died peacefully on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Bella Vista in Oshkosh.
She was born July 28, 1938, in Berlin, the daughter of Charles and Mae Lind Dillman. Muriel was a 1956 graduate of Berlin High School. On September 27, 1958, she was united in marriage to Lee Hoehne.
Muriel worked for Sears in Oshkosh and Appleton as well as Sager Glove in Berlin. She was an avid, successful gardener with two green thumbs, enjoyed winters in Arizona with Lee and loved spending time with her family. Muriel was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.
She is survived by her husband, Lee; daughter, Sherry (Ron) Calbaum; son, Curtis (Jessica) Hoehne; two grandchildren, Jonathan (Carrie) Calbaum and Michelle (Gordon) Keyzer; two great-grandchildren, Owen Michael and Evan Calbaum; brother, Raymond (Janice) Dillman; sisters-in-law, Jennifer Dillman, Norma Hoehne and Marilyn (Ken) Immel; step-grandchildren, Cole Bixby, Travis Bixby and Ashley (Aaron) Malueg; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Muriel was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Brian Calbaum; brother, Gary Dillman; and brother-in-law, Wayne Hoehne.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin.
