Thomas J. Williams Sr.
Thomas Jay Williams Sr., age 70, of Berlin, died peacefully on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac, WI. He was born November 16, 1947, in Berlin, the son of Jay and Irene Bahr Williams.
Tom was a farmer in the Town of Aurora and worked for Berlin Foundry and Young Farms, before retiring from United Cooperative. He was an avid deer hunter, loved family get-togethers and enjoyed making people happy.
He is survived by his daughter, Ann Bratley (Mark Mecklenberg); grandchildren, Savannah Steger, Joshua (Cassandra) Hartwig, Jessica Williams, Samantha Williams and Amber Williams; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Jerry Williams, Wayne Williams and Mike Williams; sisters, Vickie Williams and Barb Hobbs; and nieces and nephews, Shannon, Heather and Jay. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Jay Williams and Irene Williams Pinkall; son, Thomas Jr.; and granddaughter, Reena Williams.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, May 23, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin. Inurnment will be in Welsh Cemetery.
