June I. Lubbert

June Ione Lubbert, age 92, of Berlin, died peacefully on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Patriot Place in Berlin.

She was born June 3, 1931, in Polson, MT, the daughter of Erving and Ethel Martinson Abel. June was a 1949 graduate of Little Falls High School in MN. After high school, June was a nurse’s aide and au pair in Minneapolis. On September 1, 1951, she was united in marriage to Lloyd Lubbert in Little Falls, MN and was proud to say they had lived in seven towns and five states, making Berlin their home for the last 57 years. June sold Avon for 32 years. She was an active volunteer, and a 14-year employee of Grace English Lutheran Church in Berlin, where she organized soup suppers and knit over 1,000 baby sweaters to support the Lutheran World Services.

Kathy W. Hatch

Kathy Williams Hatch, age 79, of Berlin, died peacefully at home on Thursday, October 12, 2023.

She was born November 19, 1943, in Columbus, OH, the daughter of Victor and Sylvia Walker Williams. Kathy was a 1960 graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School in Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio State University and Master of Arts degree in Counseling from UW-Oshkosh. On June 19, 1966, she was united in marriage to Theron “Ted” Hatch in Columbus, Ohio.

Jeffrey S. Manske

Jeffrey Scott Manske, age 63, of Berlin, formerly of Pine River, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Patriot Place in Berlin.

He was born October 18, 1959, at Berlin Memorial Hospital, the son of Vernon and Diane Goehring Manske. Jeff was a 1977 graduate of Wild Rose High School and received a degree in Welding from Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton. On October 17, 1987, he was united in marriage to Roberta Kramer at Borth United Methodist Church. They later divorced.

Jeff worked at the Poy Sippi Feed Mill during his high school years, before starting in maintenance at Waupaca Foundry, where he worked for 36 years, retiring due to his health. He loved being outdoors fishing, hunting, boating and snowmobiling. Jeff was a member of the Poy Sippi Hill Climbers Snowmobile Club and Poy Sippi United Methodist Church.

Jan L. Londowski

Jan Lee Londowski, age 75, of Green Lake, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.

She was born September 5, 1948, in Berlin, WI, the daughter of Bertine and Jean Parsons Toll. Jan grew up with her brother, Tom, on the family farm showing 4-H animals at the county fair. She lived her entire life on the Toll farm, where she had a bountiful garden, created a beautiful prairie, and tended her beloved flock of Suffolk sheep.
