David A. Vetrone
David Allen Vetrone, age 61, of Berlin, formerly of Pine River, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at ThedaCare Medical Center-Berlin.
He was born June 14, 1957, in Berlin, the son of Eugene and Mary Krebs Vetrone. He was a 1975 graduate of Berlin High School.
David loved his independence. He proved he could do it on his own, and did for almost 35 years following his motorcycle accident, when he became a paraplegic.
David is survived by his father; his siblings, Eugene (Lynda) Vetrone, Nancy (John) Schultz, Rosemary (David) Van Loo, Lawrence (Paula) Vetrone, Susan (Bob) Wright; his godchild, Wendy; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Steve Young and Bob Pence. He was preceded in death by his mother on March 7, 2018; sister, Barbara Briskie, on April 17, 2018; brother-in-law, Robert Briskie; and infant brother, Ricky.
A joint Memorial Service for David and his mother, Mary, will be held on Friday, June 22, at 2:00 p.m., at Poy Sippi Community Park in Poy Sippi. Inurnment for David will be on Monday, June 25, at 5:00 p.m., at Foster Road Cemetery in Redgranite.
