Thomas J. Schuh

Thomas James Schuh, age 58, of Poy Sippi, died unexpectedly on Monday, February 28, 2022, at ThedaCare Medical Center-Berlin.

He was born June 5, 1963, in Appleton, WI, the son of Vernon and Ann Wizner Schuh. Tom was a 1981 graduate of Bethel High School in Bethel, CT. He received an associate’s degree from F.V.T.C and attended U.W.G.B. Tom served his country and retired from the U.S. Army after 20+ years. On August 2, 1997, he was united in marriage to Rachel Anderson at Multnomah Falls, OR. Tom loved playing video games, traveling, camping and hanging out with his son. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Poy Sippi.

Tom is survived by his wife, Rachel; son, Collin; mother, Ann; sisters, Betty (Jeff) Banta and Cindy Maus; brother, Jeff (Kathy) Schuh; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, March 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Poy Sippi. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Kyle Sladek officiating. Inurnment with military honors will be in Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola-Hempel Funeral Chapel in Poy Sippi.
