Robert E. Sage
Robert Elwood Sage, age 64, of Berlin, died peacefully at his home on Friday, May 27, 2022.
He was born April 22, 1958, in Maryland, the son of George and Doris Hodges Sage. After graduating from high school Robert served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He worked at Alliance Laundry Systems as a forklift equipment operator for many years.
Robert is survived by his two sons, George (Alexis) Sage, Nicholas Sage and Joshua Sage; daughter, Monique Sage; eight grandchildren, Austin, Zane, Chloe, Rayven, Shiva, Makenna, Josh Jr. and Jasper; one brother, Russell Sage; and one sister, Tammy Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Van Sage.
Funeral Services will be held in Virginia. Interment with military honors will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Galax, Virginia. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin.
