Grace P. Rodman

Grace P. Rodman, age 77, of Berlin, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh.

She was born October 12, 1937, in Stanhope, NJ, the daughter of Norbert and Leone Maves Guenther. On June 22, 1957, she was united in marriage to Thelman “Tally” Rodman at Zion Lutheran Church in South Milwaukee.

Grace worked in food service at Berlin Memorial Hospital for 20 years. She and her husband farmed in the Town of Seneca for many years. Grace was a member of Homemakers, Senior Singers at Berlin Senior Center and Ladies Aid. Grace especially enjoyed helping raise her lovely grandchildren and gardening. She was a member at St. Paul Lutheran Church at Fairburn.

She is survived by her three children, Lisa Rodman (special friend Bill Gronau), Randy (Jessica) Rodman, and Amy (Jim) Wallenhorst; seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Darren) Johannes, Megan Prellwitz, Alyssa (Brian) Mattice, Karina Rodman, Amber Wallenhorst (special friend, Sam), Josey Wallenhorst, and Ciara (Matthew) White; eight great-grandchildren, Dominic, Cameron, Brady and Aubrey Johannes, Colton Ferron, Abbygayle Bays, Ava Mattice and Leland Wallenhorst; and sister, Janice Mott (Jim). Grace was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tally, on May 11, 2012; Dennis and his wife, Fern, Guenther; and other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church at Fairburn, the Rev. Gregory Sluke officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel of Berlin.
