Victor J. Rivera
Victor Julian Rivera, age 57, of Berlin, died tragically on Sunday, July 19, 2015 following an auto accident in Langlade County near Antigo, WI.
He was born January 7, 1958 in Berlin, WI, the son of Julian and Thelma Quick Rivera. He was a 1977 graduate of Berlin High School. Victor has worked in maintenance for the Berlin School District for over 20 years.
Victor was preceded in death by his wife, Colleen, on July 23, 2005; and by his wife, Jean, on April 26, 2014; his father, Julian Rivera; sister, Tena; and brother, Martin.
He is survived by his mother, Thelma Rivera; sister, Rose Rivera; his children, Crystal (Mike) Fugmann, Samantha Rivera (Tim Gneiser), Cady (Derek) Watt, and Max Rivera; Colleen’s children, Erica, Mitch, and Phil; and Jean’s family members; his seven grandchildren, Victor John, Logan, Mary, Isabella, Lily, Sofee, and Tobias; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 24, at 7:00 p.m. at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin, with the Rev. Ben Reiser officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Appleton.
