Anthony "Tony" Rigo

Anthony “Tony” Rigo, age 91, of Berlin, died peacefully on Monday, December 16, 2019, at Martha’s Assisted Living in Princeton.

He was born June 5, 1928, in Milwaukee, the son of Joseph and Louise Vucenov Rigo. Tony attended Roosevelt School in Milwaukee. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. On October 20, 1960, he was united in marriage to Alice Cyrus.

Tony was a “Jack -of-all-Trades”. He worked in construction, delivered milk, worked for Lakeside Bridge & Steel, at Whitefish Bay in sanitation and at a cemetery. Tony enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing and happily drove a motorcycle for 70 years!

He is survived by his daughter, Cherie (Tim) Barton; son, Tony (Susan) Rigo Jr.; grandchildren, Melissa Rigo, Daniel (Christina) Rigo, Chris Barton and Jeremy Barton; great-grandchild, Peyton Staelens; and great-granddaughters, Meilani Rigo and Leilani Barton. Tony was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Alice, on December 19, 2013; and son, Daniel Kuester.

Private family services were held. Inurnment was in Eureka Cemetery on Friday, December 27. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel of Berlin.
