Thomas C. Neumann

Thomas C. Neumann, age 72, of Berlin, died peacefully on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at ThedaCare Riverside Hospital in Waupaca.

Tom was born March 2, 1944 in Milwaukee, the son of Erwin and Renata Budahn Neumann. He was a 1962 graduate of Berlin High School. Tom then served his country in the U.S. Navy for four years. On April 1, 1967, he was united in marriage to Judith Griffith at Berlin United Methodist Church.

He worked for a time as a furniture salesman at Goodrich Home Furnishings in Berlin, and later he and his wife, Judy, owned their own business as Neumann Furniture Store.

Tom is survived by his wife of 49 years, Judy; two daughters, Rebecca (Joseph) Flanery and Sarah Neumann; three sisters, Judith, Susan, and Mary Neumann; a brother, James (Jeanne) Neumann; special family friend, Mary Anderson; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at United Methodist Church in Berlin, with the Rev. Larry Rieck officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. There will be a lunch at the church immediately following the service.
