Franklin D. Moore
Franklin Darrel Moore, age 74, of Berlin, died peacefully on September 1, 2016 at his home under Agnesian Hospice Care.
Franklin was born September 4, 1941 in Columbus, OH, the son of David F. & Ethel Marie Perkins Moore. He attended school in Ohio. He was united in marriage to Bettie Jo (Bates) Smith. They moved to this area in 2002 and resided in Redgranite and Berlin.
Franklin is survived by his wife, Bettie; his sons, Christopher, Andy (Anna), and David (Stacey) Moore; two daughters, Jennifer Sleeper and Kim Moore; three step-daughters, Kathy (Michael) Anderson, Kimberly Langdon, and Kelly (Wayne) Gotcher; 19 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Carol Jean Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, David.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin, the Rev. Christopher Jansen officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday morning one hour prior to the service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at
