Theodore M. “Ted” Matson
Theodore Milton “Ted” Matson, age 62, died unexpectedly and peacefully at the home of his sister in Berlin on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.
He was born July 22, 1959, in Tigerton, WI, the son of Milton and Darlene Adams Matson. Ted lived in South Carolina, Las Vegas and Dallas, Texas. A few weeks ago he came back to Wisconsin. He enjoyed trading stocks, pets (especially cats), reading books, taking long walks and watching the Packers play football.
He is survived by his mother, Darlene; sister, Gwen (Pete) Lewellyn; brother, Don (Terry) Matson; three aunts, Bev Alfheim, Suzy Adams and Marilyn Steinke; two uncles, Ed (Helen) Adams and Dale (Cathy) Adams; and many cousins. Ted was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial service will be held in Wittenberg at a later date. Inurnment will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Wittenberg. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin.
