Richard F. Krebs
Richard Forest Krebs, age 88, of Berlin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 3, 2018, at Patriot Place in Berlin.
He was born at home on September 1, 1929, in Berlin, the son of Forest and Hilda Hoehne Krebs. Richard attended Berlin schools and was a lifelong farmer, moving to Hill Crest Farm on the east edge of the city at the age of 18. On April 3, 1971, he was united in marriage to Donna R. LeMahieu in Sheboygan County.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Donna; daughter, Dawn Krebs (friend, Sean); son, Chris Krebs (friend, Rhonda); four grandchildren, Jazmine, Caylie, Brady and Destiney; a niece, nephew, several cousins, other relatives and friends. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and only sister, Shirley Pierce. The family would like to thank Patriot Place and Heartland Hospice for their care and compassion.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin. A memorial has been established.
