Donna Y. Jones
Donna Yvonne Jones, age 80, of Berlin, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at Whispering Pines Nursing & Rehab in Ripon.
She was born September 14, 1940, in Bitely, MI, the daughter of George and Edith Trimble Masten. In October 1974, she was united in marriage to Henry Jones. Donna was employed as a waitress, and enjoyed crocheting, traveling and was an avid fan of the Packers, Badgers and NASCAR. Donna was a free spirited person who had many adventures. She was able to attend the Indy 500 and the Rose Bowl twice. Donna loved the southwest, rodeos and horseback riding. Donna admired and embraced the Navajo culture that her beloved husband, Henry, was a part of. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Berlin.
Donna is survived by her sister, Ricki (Mark) Schubert; several nieces and nephews; and great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; six sisters, infant Fay Masten, Virginia Hanneman, Gladys (Bud) Slizewski, Mary (Spike) Lundberg, Joann (LaVern) Haase and Georgia (Sheldon) Behnke; and three brothers, Richard, George (Shirley) and Larry (Pat) Masten.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Paul Mundinger officiating. Inurnment will be in Poy Sippi Cemetery.
