Donna J. Jent
Donna Joy Jent, age 72, of Oshkosh, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh.
She was born April 18, 1943, in the Township of Warren, Macomb County, Michigan, the daughter of Adam and Beatrice Peters Reynolds. Donna was a 1961 graduate of Alcona Community High School and received a BS degree in 1966 at Eastern Michigan University. On August 1, 1964, she was united in marriage to Rev. Larry R. Jent.
Donna was a homemaker and teacher at Berlin Community Day Care. Home and family were extremely important to Donna. She was a joyful pianist and singer who shared her talent through church and community performances.
She is survived by her four children, Richard (Valerie) Jent, Renee Jent (Kevin Swartzinski), David (Lisa) Jent and Jeremy Jent; six grandchildren, Brittany, Jamie, Bobbi Sue, Kimberlie, Kayla and Jacob; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dale (Caroline) Reynolds and Allen (Ruth) Reynolds; a sister-in-law, Margaret Reynolds; and a brother-in-law, Walter Jezierski. She was preceded in death by her husband on Oct. 25, 2008; her parents; a brother, Ardine Reynolds; and a sister, Lorraine Jezierski.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Community Church in Berlin, the Rev. Terry Reiser officiating. Interment will be in Welsh Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call on Thursday, May 28 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin and on Friday at the church one hour prior to the services.
