Lyle R. Jannusch

Lyle Robert Jannusch, age 57, of the Township of Warren, died Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at HCR Manor Care in Fond du Lac.

He was born April 1, 1960, in Berlin, WI, the son of Robert and Ruth Betry Jannusch. Lyle was a 1978 graduate of Berlin High School. He worked as a farmer and later was employed as a truck driver and mechanic for Jeff Novak Excavating until the time of his illness.

Lyle is survived by his sister, Linda (Kevin) Bauer; nieces, Katrina (Erich) Mayer and Kristina Bauer; great-nephews, Briar and Callen; and he will be missed by his cat, Oscar, and his many friends. His parents preceded him in death.

Funeral services for Lyle will be held on Saturday, January 27, at 11:00 a.m., at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin. Friends and relatives may call at the chapel on Saturday morning from 9:30 until the time of services. Interment will be in Nepeuskun Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at ThedaCare-Berlin, ThedaCare-Appleton, UW-Madison Oncology Dept., and Manor Care Health Services.
