Lee A. Hoehne

Lee Hoehne, age 88, of Oshkosh, WI, died on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Ascension Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh.

He was born on March 26, 1933, in Berlin, WI, the son of Alvin and Merle Leverton Hoehne. Lee attended Berlin High School. On September 27, 1958, he was united in marriage to Muriel Dillman.

Lee ran an electrical business in Berlin for many years with Lee Krueger of Redgranite called Lee’s Electric. He later moved to Oshkosh and changed the business name to Hoehne Electric which is now owned by his son, Curt. Lee liked to golf, take rides in the country and play cards, with Sheepshead being his favorite. He also enjoyed spending the winters in Arizona with Muriel. Lee was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.

Lee is survived by his son, Curtis (Jessica) Hoehne; daughter, Sherry (Ron) Calbaum; two grandchildren, Jonathan (Carrie) Calbaum and Michelle (Gordon) Keyzer; two great-grandchildren, Owen Michael and Evan Calbaum; sister, Marilyn (Ken) Immel; brother-in-law, Raymond (Janice) Dillman; sisters-in-law, Jennifer Dillman and Norma Hoehne; step-grandchildren, Cole Bixby, Travis Bixby and Ashley (Aaron) Malueg; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Muriel, on September 3, 2021; his parents; grandson, Brian Calbaum; brother, Wayne Hoehne; and brother-in-law, Gary Dillman.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin.
