John E. Hansen
John Edward Hansen, age 68, of Pine River, WI, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Appleton.
He was born April 19, 1954, in North Chicago, IL, the son of Russell and Barbara Johnson Hansen. John was a 1972 graduate of Libertyville High School in Illinois and served his country in the U.S. Army. On March 22, 2002, he was united in marriage to Bonnie Schaff at the Waushara County Courthouse.
John currently worked as a handyman for Titan. Prior to Titan, he worked for Generac in Berlin and Oshkosh Truck. John enjoyed cutting trees, hunting, working and going to the casino.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; daughter, Dawn (Brian) Schultz; son, Jim (Jessie) Hansen; three grandchildren, Matt Hansen, Amber (Wyatt) Burnett and Adam Schultz; one great-granddaughter, Paisley Burnett; stepchildren, Kyle Alling and Rachel Schaff; step-grandsons, Kaiden Schaff and Liam Schaff; sister, Jamie (Joseph) Farrell; and many nieces, nephews and friends. John was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Catherine.
