Daniel E. Guden
Daniel Ervin Guden, age 68, of Berlin, died unexpectedly as the result of an auto accident in Sawyer County on Wednesday, September 16, 2015.
He was born January 9, 1947, in Marshfield, the son of Ervin and Laura Raeder Guden. Daniel attended St. Michael Catholic School and was a 1965 graduate of Berlin High School. He worked at Berlin Tannery and Berlin Foundry for many years. Daniel had a passion for woodworking and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and four-wheeling.
Daniel is survived by his two children, Tom Guden (fiancé Edi Helmuth), Tory (Bill) Behnke; four grandchildren, Ashley, Austin, Brielle and Samual; brother, Terry (Joanne) Guden; sister, Nancy Hoppa; sister-in-law, Becky Guden; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Thomas and Joel; and brother-in-law, Robert Hoppa and two of his children.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin, Father David Greenfield officiating. Friends and relatives may call at Barbola Funeral Chapel on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services. Memorials may be directed to the Thomas Guden Memorial Scholarship Fund.
