Robert A. Grossenbach Jr.

Robert Arthur Grossenbach Jr., age 84, of Town of Green Lake, died peacefully at home on Saturday, November 21, 2020.

He was born March 11, 1936, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Robert Sr. and Susan Stratton Grossenbach. Bob was raised in Whitefish Bay. He graduated from UW-Madison and ROTC Program. Bob served his country in the U.S. Army Reserve until 1965 and was honorably discharged as a Captain. He married his first wife, Shirley Scassellati, and they had three daughters.

Bob was a sales manager at Consolidated Papers, an avid outdoorsman, passionate about fishing and a great storyteller. He provided entertaining stories that brought laughter to many people, which will live on with all that heard them. His family brought him his greatest joy in life. On August 18, 1995, he was united in marriage to Kay Madison.

He is survived by his three daughters, Marianne (Mark) Raymond, Susan Grossenbach (Greg Keehn) and Sarah Novy; five grandchildren, Laura, Michelle, Carrie, Anthony and Valerie; two brothers, Peter (Kay) Grossenbach and Richard (Bonnie) Grossenbach; one niece, Rebecca; three nephews, Steve, Nick and Scott; one stepdaughter, Julie (Jim) Reardon; one stepson, Tyler (Linda) Marks; and one step-granddaughter, Megan. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Kay, on November 2, 2008.

Private graveside services with inurnment will be held in Poy Sippi Cemetery, Father David Greenfield officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin.
