Jennifer M. Griggel

Jennifer Marie Griggel, age 33, of Sheboygan, died unexpectedly on Friday, February 25, 2022, at her home in Buford, GA.

She was born July 18, 1988, in Sheboygan, WI, the daughter of Steven and Angela Weiske Griggel. Jennifer graduated with honors from Sheboygan South High School in 2006 and attended Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute for Cosmetology in Minneapolis, MN.

Jenny was a smart, beautiful, happy, energetic and extremely independent girl, who loved everyone and everything. She let her family know that she could “do it herself” long before she could pronounce the words correctly. As a child her passion was anything water related and gymnastics. As an adult, it was water and CrossFit. Jenny loved all animals, especially her rescue dogs, Brody and Luna. She loved country music, swimming, boating, biking, hiking, dancing, cooking and fishing with her Dad. She was full of life and threw everything she had into everything she did. She was always up for an adventure of any kind and loved to try new things even if they were a bad idea. Jenny was brave, outgoing, kind and generous to a fault. She loved deeply and hurt deeply. Jenny was a wildflower blowing in the wind.

She is survived by her mother, Angie Griggel; two brothers, Andy (Anna) Griggel, Adam (Amy) Griggel; aunts and uncles, Marty (Jill) Weiske, Carrie Gerretson, Cindy (Dave) Delozier, Suze (Bob) Garrity, Scott (Lynn) Fuller and Pam Martinek; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Steven, on September 4, 2021; grandparents, Ken (Marcie) Weiske, Don (Mitzi) Griggel and Betty Fuller; and uncle, Paul Weiske.

A private family service will be held with Deacon Jim Hoegemeier officiating. Inurnment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to a suicide prevention organization or Humane Society of your choice. If you know someone suffering from depression or addiction please reach out and be kind. We will always be haunted that we couldn’t help you, Jenny. God knows we tried. Your absence will forever leave a hole in our hearts.
