He was born December 15, 1946, in Milwaukee, WI.
Preceded in death by his parents, William and Helen; beloved wife, Jean; brothers, William Jr. and Kenneth; sisters, Sandra, Susan and Barbara. Best dad in the world to Dan and Jennifer (James). Awesome grandpa to Amanda (Matt) and great-grandpa to Killian and Danny. Duane served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a Vietnam veteran. He worked on the railroad for 36 years at Union Pacific and Chicago Northwestern. He loved spending time fishing with his buddy, Leo.
