Gerald H. Gerth
Gerald Herbert Gerth, age 74, formerly of Berlin, died peacefully on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Maple Meadows Assisted Living in Fond du Lac.
He was born May 5, 1947, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Ralph and Pearl Marks Gerth. Gerry was a 1965 graduate of Berlin High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Gerry was Bank Operations Officer at Marine Bank for 20 years and worked at Milwaukee Tri-City Group for over 15 years. He also operated an Advicoach franchise (consulting services to small banks). Gerry was Chairman of WI Automated Clearing House Association twice. In his free time he was an avid fisherman.
Gerry is survived by his children, Jerrod (Mandi) Gerth, Andrea Gerth and Gayle (Dave) Dietsch; grandchildren, Owen, Samuel, Gabriel, Nora, Clara, Kelly, Paul and Daniel; brothers, Glenn (Rose) Gerth and Joel Gerth; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Gloria Ellen Gerth.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Rev. Paul Mundinger officiating. Inurnment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
