Clifford H. Fleegal

Clifford Harry Fleegal, age 78, of Green Lake, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 29, 2021.

He was born March 6, 1943, in Portage, WI, the son of Harry and Elnora Bornick Fleegal. On April 14, 1984, he was united in marriage to Lois Henke.

Cliff was a life-long farmer in the Town of Berlin. After he stopped milking, he purchased a dump truck and continued self-employment in the trucking industry. He kept active all of his life. Cliff was an avid outdoorsman that went on many hunting trips. He loved participating in antique tractor pulls where he acquired numerous trophies. He enjoyed traveling and going out to eat with Lois. Cliff easily made friends and would always take the time to stop and talk to people everywhere he went. He especially treasured the time he could spend with his family. Cliff was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church at Fairburn.

He is survived by the love of his life and best friend, Lois; daughter, Yvonne (Bob) Greenfield; stepson, Kevin (Tamatha) Verch; stepdaughter, Melanie (Benjamin) Stellmacher; daughter-in-law, Gina Fleegal; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer, Julie, Sarah, Alexa, Eva, Theresa, Cheyanne, Kyle, Ashley and Breanna; great-grandchild, Oliver; brother, Ray (Karen) Fleegal; two sisters, Carol (Howard) Zabel and Ruth (Bob) Milne; brother-in-law, Ken Wegner; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Cliff was preceded in death by his parents; son, Roy Fleegal; infant brother, Kenneth; and sister, Jean Wegner.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church at Fairburn, Rev. Gregory Sluke officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 4, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin, and on Wednesday at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Neshkoro.
