James A. Faber

James Anthony Faber, age 82, of Poy Sippi, died peacefully on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Appleton.

He was born July 21, 1938, in Rib Lake, WI, the son of Carl and Rose Kaur Faber. He was a 1955 graduate of Rib Lake High School.

Jim worked for many years at the Berlin Foundry in the fab division and was active in Boy Scouts of America serving as Scout Master. He was an all-around handyman and loved old cars (Chevys, not Fords!). Jim and his wife, Donna, operated Donna’s Discounts in Berlin.

He is survived by his three children, Deb (Arden) Hartwig, Don Faber and Tanya (Rick) Shreiner; four grandchildren, Ashley (Jon), Clyde (Jessica), Larissa and Leonna; four great-grandchildren, Paris, Cody, Gannon and Sophia; and two step-grandchildren, Joshua and Arden J. (A.J.). He is further survived by his extended family, Richard (Sheli) Paez, Tirzo (Karen) Paez, Angel (Jere) Paez, Miguel (Gina) Paez and Antonio Paez; special friends, Tammy Truax and Bob Pence; and lifetime friend, Bob Hebert. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; three wives, Melody, Sandy and Donna; and son, Bob Faber.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, June 21, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Rev. Scott T.
