Steven Drover

Steven Drover, age 59, of Berlin, died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, May 28, 2016.

Steven was born February 11, 1957 in Berlin, the son of Ellison and Emily Secora Drover. He was a 1975 graduate of Berlin High School. Following school, he served in the U.S. Navy from 1975-1977, touring the globe. He began a long career at Oshkosh (Truck) Corp, and has been employed there for over 37 years. Steve was a drummer and played for the Fairwater Band in his early years. He was a proud member of the Bootjack Bear Hunting Crew, a founding member of the Berlin Street Cruzers Car Club and has raced at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna. Above all, Steve was a dedicated father and grandfather.

He is survived by a son, Clinton (Amber) Drover; two grandchildren, Bella and Harrison; and more friends than you can hang on a fence! Steve was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jacob; and a brother, Allan.

Visitation for Steve will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin. Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 3, at 10:30 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Bryan G. Lundquist officiating, followed by Military Honors performed by Wells-Krause V.F.W. Post #2925.
