Doris E. Dopke
Doris Eugenia Dopke, age 95, of Berlin, died peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Patriot Place in Berlin.
She was born January 18, 1920 in Green Lake County the daughter of Gus and Alva Beaman Hurley. She was a 1937 graduate of Berlin High School and received a Doctorate from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL. On August 30, 1958, she was united in marriage to Willard J. “Bill” Dopke.
Doris is survived by her son, Merle; two grandsons, Gus (Jessica) Davey and John Davey; two great- grandchildren, Alivia and Rocco; nieces and nephews, Cary (Sue) Weiss, Cozette (Paul) Cismoski and Clay Weiss; and other great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, on July 18, 2001; two sisters, Ardis (Louis) Weiss and Mildred Hurley; and nephew, Chris Weiss.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin, the Rev. Randy Prahl officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
