Beverly A. Brooks
Beverly Ann Brooks, age 85, of Madison, formerly of Berlin, died peacefully on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Capital Lakes Retirement Community in Madison.
She was born September 24, 1932, in Berlin, the daughter of Henry and Hulda Krueger Brooks. Beverly worked as a secretary in the Department of Agriculture at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, retiring in 1993.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Allan, Marjorie, Sharon, Bonnie, Dennis, Wendy, William, Gregory and Carol; sister-in-law, Norma Brooks; cousins, Karen Tallitsch and Garvin Shields; and her close friends, Tom and Jill Duerr. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gilbert (Janet), Marvin (Norma) and Lyndon Brooks.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin. Funeral services will be held at Barbola Funeral Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery alongside her parents. Online condolences may be sent to the family at barbolafc@yahoo.com.
