Diana J. Krutzik

Diana Jean Krutzik, age 69, of Poy Sippi, died unexpectedly but peacefully on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah.

Diana was born February 1, 1955, at Berlin Memorial Hospital, the daughter of Norbert and Josephine Peterson Wrage. She was a 1973 graduate of Wild Rose High School. On August 31, 1974, she was united in marriage to Robert Krutzik at First Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi. They later divorced.

She received a Lay School of Ministry Certificate on May 8, 1999, an Associate of Science degree in Accounting from CO Technical University in May 2010, a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice from CO Technical University in Dec. 2013.

Diana worked as a secretary/bookkeeper at Lungwitz Garage by Redgranite, Waushara County Courthouse and Waushara County Nurses Association. She also worked at various factories in the area for 13 years (Shelmet Precision Casting in Wild Rose, Realist in Berlin, Miles Kimball in Oshkosh, Precision Paint Shop in Berlin and The Wallet Factory in Berlin). Diana was an active member in Pine River HCE (Homemakers). She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi, teaching Sunday School & VBS for 50 years, in Hope Circle and the Prayer Chain, plus serving as Lay Leader and a lector. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, quilting, painting and gardening.

She is survived by her two daughters, Mae (Patrick) Meyer and Kimberly (Frank) Nigbor; six grandchildren, Samantha Nigbor, Madelyn Nigbor, John Nigbor, Gavin Meyer, Cassandra Meyer and Isabella Meyer; seven siblings, June Lepak, Jo Ann (Richard) Yeska, Lois Kolka, Alice Wrage, James (Mary) Wrage, Jerry (Jan) Wrage and Linda Wrage; and nieces and nephews. Diana was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 22, at 11:00 a.m., at First Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi, Rev. Rebekah Tarras officiating. Inurnment will be in Pine River Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 21, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Barbola-Hempel Funeral Chapel in Poy Sippi, and on Friday at the church one hour prior to the services.
