Rosemary A. Wartchow
Rosemary A. Wartchow, age 86, of Spring Lake, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at Cherry Meadows Hospice Home in Appleton.
She was born May 16, 1932, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Joseph and Claire Maholak Swenarski. Rosemary was a graduate of Messmer High School in Milwaukee. On March 31, 1990, she was united in marriage to James Wartchow. Rosemary worked for Global Union and Johnson Controls. She attended St. Mark Catholic Church in Redgranite.
She is survived by her husband, James; daughter, Mary (Richard) Lazinski; sons, James Jr. (Dawn) Slavik and William Slavik; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sisters, Rita and Sr. Rita Claire Swenarski; sister-in-law, Victoria; and nieces and nephews. Rosemary was preceded in death by her three sons, John, Jerome and Peter Slavik; and three brothers.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin. Funeral services will be held at Barbola Funeral Chapel at 11:00 a.m., Deacon Bob Precourt officiating.
