Janice M. Schleicher

Janice Marie Schleicher, age 61, of Berlin, passed away unexpectedly after a long battle with cancer, on July 14, 2018 at Crossroads care Center in Weyauwega.

She was born April 7, 1957, the daughter of Edgar and Marilyn Sponable Loging. Janice was a 1975 graduate of Berlin High School. On February 14, 2003, she was united in marriage to Russell Schleicher.

Janice enjoyed sewing and making other forms of crafts as well as spending time with her friends and family. She was a kind and compassionate woman. She always loved to put a smile on everyone’s face with her goofy faces and teasing jokes. Anyone who has had the pleasure to know her knows she was passionate about her family and never wanted to see anyone upset. Janice will be sadly missed by all.

She is survived by her son, William Applebee; daughter, Tina Applebee; grandchildren, Rebecca (Francisco Alvarez) Milne, Allison Milne, Kyle Applebee, and Braden Milne; brother, Scott (Carol) Loging; sister, Cheryl (Allen) Reilly; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Janice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Russell, brother, Jim Loging; and sister, Mary Loging.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, July 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin, with a memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
