Ruth F. Pellerino
Ruth Florence Pellerino, age 78, of Berlin, was called home to our Lord, on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at ThedaCare Medical Center-Berlin.
She was born January 10, 1944, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Herbert and Renata Barkow Jordan. Ruth was a 1962 graduate of Montello High School. On August 11, 1962, she was united in marriage to Robert Bornick. They had two children, a son, Brian and a daughter, Mitzi. On February 12, 1994, she was united in marriage to Ross Pellerino.
Ruth was employed from 1980-1994 at Montello Care Center after becoming licensed as the center’s Administrator. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, watching Hallmark movies, playing the card games Euchre and cribbage. Ruth was a member of the Fire Belles in Montello, Nursing Home Administrators Association and Board of Directors for Berlin Memorial Hospital. She had been a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Packwaukee. Ruth was also a past member at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Berlin and currently a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Berlin.
She is survived by her son, Brian (Michelle) Bornick; daughter, Mitzi (Mark) Putzke; nine grandchildren, Kylee (Shawn) Barott, Kendra (Hunter) Wilson, Jordyn Putzke, Paul Putzke, Logan Bornick, Henry Bornick, Reagan Bornick, Zechariah Bornick and Trinity Bornick; one great-granddaughter, Evelynn Barott; and one sister, Renata Quillen. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ross; two sisters, Helen (Edwin) Krivanek and Martha (Allen) Krall; three brothers, Arthur (Becky) Jordan, Albert (Joyce) Jordan and Herman (Gertie) Jordan; and brother-in-law, Ken Quillen.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at St. John Lutheran Church in Berlin. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Paul Mundinger officiating. Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Packwaukee at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin.
