Dennis L. Kray
Dennis Laverne Kray, age 67, of the Township of Berlin, died unexpectedly at home on Saturday, May 20, 2023.
He was born October 19, 1955, in Elgin, IL, the son of Laverne and Wanda Sieroslawski Kray. Dennis was a 1973 graduate of Hampshire High School in IL. On May 2, 1981, he was united in marriage to Lori Foell in Mason City, IA.
Dennis was a machinist for TW Designs in Montello for many years. He also worked for David White and Generac in Berlin. Dennis was a member of Faith Community Church. He enjoyed being outdoors with his dog either gardening or working with his horses, especially “Daisy”, his favorite.
He is survived by his wife, Lori; two daughters, Katie (Brad) Warwick and Karrie (Brian) Hughes; three grandchildren, Kenzie, Bridgett and Jordan; two sisters, Karen (Norm) Boxleitner and Nancy Belpedio; and his mother-in-law, Irma Foell. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Kathleen Randecker; brother-in-law, Ronald Belpedio; father-in-law, Lowell Wayne Foell; and Lori’s grandmother, Katheryn Foell.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Faith Community Church in Berlin. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Ben Reiser officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin.
