Russell R. Freimark
Russell Raymond Freimark, age 77, of Fond du Lac, died peacefully on Monday, August 6, 2018, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.
He was born September 11, 1940, in Berlin, the son of Alfred and Hulda Kiplin Freimark. Russ was a 1958 graduate of Berlin High School and served his country in the U.S. Army from 1963-65. On November 13, 1965, he was united in marriage to Bonnie Reiser at St. John Lutheran Church in Berlin.
Russ was a project manager for numerous construction companies, including White, Rasmussen, Ram and Northeast Asphalt. He was a member of American Legion in Fond du Lac, National Rifle Assoc., and an active member of Hope Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; son, Brian Freimark; daughter, Lyne (Tony) Neuburg; grandchildren, Greg (Heather) Freimark, Chase (Marlys) Freimark, Bridget Freimark (friend, Richard), Cody Neuburg and Jade Neuburg; great-grandson, Lincoln Freimark; sister, Dorothy (Gene) Olig; sister-in-law, Carol Dillon; and nieces and nephews. Russ was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, James Dillon.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, August 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Hope Lutheran Church, 260 Vincent Street, Fond du Lac. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Phillip Enderle officiating. Military Honors will be performed at the church following the services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel of Berlin. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Home of Hope and Hope Lutheran Church. The family wishes to thank DaVita Fond du Lac Dialysis and Hospice Home of Hope for the special care they have given to Russ.
