Eileen Bruss
Eileen Susan Bruss, age 77, died peacefully at her home in the Township of Nepeuskun.
She was born October 13, 1937 in Waukesha County, WI, the daughter of Wallace and Ruth Goodman Boyd. On November 3, 1956, she was united in marriage to Ray Bruss. The couple farmed near Franklin, WI and moved to the area in 1977 where they operated a dairy farm. Eileen also worked in Berlin at Janet’s Smart Shop, Dressmart, and for the past 19 years at the Berlin Public Library. She enjoyed her flower gardens at home and always looked forward to spending time with her friends. She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Eileen is survived by her two sons, Dale (Sara) and David (Susan) Bruss; five grandchildren, Rachel, Chad, Ben, Jonathon, and Matthew; two sisters; three brothers; several nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her husband on Sept. 27, 2013; her parents; a grandson, Kenny; two brothers; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon, the Rev. Dennis Meier officiating. Interment will follow in Nepeuskun Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
