Rhonda K. Boening
Rhonda Kay Boening, age 70, of Berlin, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Patriot Place.
She was born July 31, 1952, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Russell and Sarah Varner Webster. On August 27, 1977, she was united in marriage to Rickey Boening in Danville, IL.
Rhonda worked as a cashier at Kmart in Ripon and a janitor for Fox River Industries in Berlin and Green Lake County Human Services. She treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren, especially going to her grandson’s sporting events and enjoyed having her son cook her steaks. Most recently she liked playing solitaire and other computer games while listening to her scanner.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Boening; grandchildren, Trevor, Jordan, Tucker and Jayden; sister-in-law, Debbie Rew; brother-in-law, Dennis Hopperdietzel; two special friends, Mary Krings and Mike Kempf; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Rhonda was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky; daughter, Kimberly; parents; grandson, Blair; brothers, Bill, Don and Dick Webster; sister, Pat Cunningham; and mother-in-law, Catherine Hopperdietzel.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 10, at 11:00 a.m., at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 9, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Barbola Funeral Chapel and on Wednesday one hour prior to the services.
