Wanda V. Farmer

Wanda Virginia Farmer, age 44, of Berlin, died unexpectedly at home on Saturday, January 25, 2025.

She was born May 16, 1980, in Wild Rose, WI, the daughter of Calvin and Joyce Dittman Miller. She spent the majority of her adolescence bouncing around parts of Wisconsin and finished high school at Slinger High. Wanda went on to study Phlebotomy and graduated from Waukesha County Technical College with a GPA of 4.0. In 2000, she was united in marriage to Joseph Farmer. They had three wonderful children.

Wanda’s unexpected passing has been a shock to anyone who knew and loved her. She was a free soul and was never afraid to be herself. Although she was self-conscious about her smile, she never failed to light up a room with her infectious laugh. Wanda was an extremely hard-working and loyal individual. She often helped those she loved without question, or without expecting anything in return. She had a goofy personality and she definitely knew how to have a good time. Wanda’s sister, SueAnne, recalled working together at K-Mart around 2016-2017, and enjoyed the chaos they created together.

She never claimed to be a perfect person. She had her flaws like everyone else, but she was real and honest. Wanda did her best to be a decent human to everyone she met, but you could always count on her telling you her opinion. She was always excited and willing to try new things, and she never let anyone hold her back from what she wanted.

She is remembered by her siblings, SueAnne Miller and Jeremiah “Jay” Miller; children, Joey, Larissa and Seth; best friend, Emily Pease; as well as partners of her loved ones and their children; and many, many friends, including ones she saw as family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Wanda’s loved ones are asking that you celebrate the time you had with her and pour out a Natural Ice beer in her honor. Remember the laughs and the good times you had with her, and be prepared to party in her memory.
