Ruth Missall, age 87, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Juliette Manor in Berlin. Ruth was born in the Town of Fremont on February 2, 1925, the daughter of Henry and Matilda Uhl Laabs. Ruth graduated from Weyauwega High School in 1942 and married Harvey Missall on June

Ruth was an accomplished oil painter and belonged to the Rural Rembrandt’s for several years. She worked at Miles Kimball and Chicago Pickle Company, but her most important job was to work
side by side with her husband on their family farm by Redgranite. Ruth enjoyed working crossword puzzles and reading any book she could get her hands on. She was a member of Immanuel
Lutheran Church in Auroraville, where until recent years she was active in making banners, quilts, teaching Sunday school, and belonging to the Mary Circle.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran
Church in Auroraville, with the Rev. Brian Beardsley officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove
Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the
church.
