Hubert A. Timm, age 86, of Berlin died peacefully on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Berlin Memorial
Hospital.
Hubert was born on November 5, 1927 in Waushara County, WI, the son of Carl and Lona Manske
Timm. On September 25, 1951, he was united in marriage to Evelyn Angle at Immanuel Lutheran
Church in Auroraville. Hubert hauled milk for many years for Alto Co-op Creamery. He was a
member of Grace English Lutheran Church in Berlin. Hubert served his country in the U.S. Army and
was stationed in Japan.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Evelyn; Five children: Thomas Timm, John Timm, Mary
Como, Mark Timm, and Carol Timm; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters,
Mabel Gimbel, Lorraine Zastrow, and JoAnn Zabel; several nieces and nephews, and his favorite cat,
“Bobkat”. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lucille.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Barbola Funeral Chapel
in Berlin, the Rev. Scott Piper officiating. Interment will be in Shead Island Cemetery on Wednesday
morning with Military Honors by the Berlin Honor Guard. Friends and relatives may call on Tuesday
from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Barbola Funeral Chapel. Online condolences may be emailed to the
