John Junior Lind, age 59, of Redgranite, and Duluth, MN, died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 29,
2014 at St. Luke Hospital in Duluth, MN.
He was born January 4, 1955 in Ripon, the son of Junior and Arlene Meyer Lind. He was a 1973
graduate of Ripon High School, where he was active in sports and F.F.A. John was an avid hunter
and lover of the outdoors. He was a member of the Berlin Conservation Club, WI Turkey Federation
and Walleyes for Tomorrow. John was a certified blaster and worked for several companies in the
area. He semi-retired from Falcon Blasting in 2012.
On September 24, 2004, he was united in marriage to Debra Drover. She preceded him in death on
Nov. 23, 2009. On February 27, 2014, he was united in marriage to Jan Belheumer.
John is survived by his wife, Jan; his son, John J. Lind Jr. of Las Vegas; and a daughter, Jessica
(Jason) Stini of Menasha; one grandson, Crew Stini; his mother, Arlene Lind of Ripon; two sisters,
Gail (Joe) Schuldt of Brandon and Karen (Kevin) Stibb of Redgranite; two brothers, Dave (Beth)
Lind and Jerry (Julie) Lind all of Ripon; step-son Joshua Nigbor of Berlin; step-granddaughter, Avery
Nigbor; step-daughter, Emma Larson; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He is further
survived by his canine friends Bourbon, Kong and Maggie. He was preceded in death by his father,
Junior Lind.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Barbola Funeral Chapel,
the Rev. Bryan G. Lundquist officiating. Interment will be in Brushville Cemetery in the Township of
Bloomfield. Friends and relatives may call on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Barbola Funeral
Chapel and on Saturday one hour prior to the service.
