Georgia M. Krueger, age 90, of Berlin died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Berlin
Memorial Hospital.
She was born September 13, 1923 in Neshkoro, WI, the daughter of George and Mary Loshinski
Byrne. Georgia was a 1942 graduate of Berlin High School. On June 30, 1943, she was united in
marriage to George Krueger. She worked many years at Sand Knit in Berlin, and also at Kmart in
Ripon. For the past four years, she has resided at Brown-Wilcox Home in Berlin.
Georgia is survived by a daughter, Gloria (Russel) Root of Anderson, SC; a grandson, Steven
Knatzka; and great-granddaughter, Stephanie Knatzka, also of Anderson, SC; a brother, George
(Carol) Byrne of Berlin; a sister, Betty Mendenhall of Wildwood, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George, on June 4, 1979; brothers, Harold, Eugene,
Kenneth, Dale, and Robert Byrne; and sisters, Gladys Rozek and Genevieve Hoeft.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Barbola Funeral
Chapel in Berlin, the Rev. John A. Schmitz officiating. Inurnment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Friends and relatives may call on Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services
at Barbola Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be directed to Brown-Wilcox Home in Berlin or the
